Peter Gomez is a nationally-renown guard instructor and visual designer based in Southern California. A former member of both the Santa Clara Vanguard and the Blue Devils, Peter has gone on to lead many guard programs - both fall band and indoor - to championship levels. His work includes teaching and designing for Chino HS, Vista Murrieta HS, Glen A Wilson HS, Upland HS and Nogales HS, just to name a few of his recent successful ensembles. He has also been a designer and caption head for the Academy and Pacific Crest drum and bugle corps and currently serves as program designer for the Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets. Peter was inducted into the WGASC Hall of Fame in 2011 and is the founder and CEO of ColorguardUSA.
Some equipment will be provided but we recommend that students bring equipment that they are comfortable with. Dress appropriately for movement and hot, dry weather as is typical in Murrieta. Most of the camp events will be held outdoors. Be sure to bring or fax this medical release form [download pdf].
This is a commuter camp. There are several hotels nearby for those attendees who require overnight accommodations.
