Original Rags is the first published “rag” by the great Scott Joplin. This arrangement follows the time honored tradition of converting piano ragtime tunes to percussion ensemble arrangements featuring a xylophone soloist accompanied by multiple marimbas. This is a perfect concert or festival selection for a high school percussion ensemble wanting to feature a strong two mallet performer.
